Assalammualaikum. I want to know about your opinion on muslimah girls who uploaded their personal pictures on social media (twitter, instagram etc..)
Waalaikumusalam.
Regarding the uploading of personal photos for muslimah is permissible with few conditions.
They are,
1. Her aurat must be perfectly covered
2. No causing any seduction
3. No tabarruj (excessive in make-ups)
4. Has no intention for attraction
5. Has no intention of showing off her beauty.
However, it is not encouraged to upload herself as there is no necessity in doing it. If the muslimah has her account to be privatized and allowed only her female friends and relatives, then it should be the way.
